Dixie R. Thompson, ARNP-C, CLC

Dixie Thompson is married with five children and one grandchild. She graduated from Emory University's Gynecology/Obstetrics Nurse Practitioner program in 1995. Prior to that, Dixie was a Labor and Delivery nurse in a high risk referral hospital. She is nationally certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Inpatient Obstetric Nurse, Lactation (breast feeding) Counselor, and Childbirth Educator. She joined The Women's Group in 1996.

Dixie enjoys reading, travel, music and dance. She is involved with the Escambia County Healthy Start Coalition in activities to improve the health of women and babies.
