Dr. Turner announces his retirement

After more than 40 years of medical practice, I have decided to retire. I came to Pensacola in 1979 to begin my training in OB/GYN with the intention of returning to my home in Georgia to open a private practice. I had a fantastic time in Pensacola during my four years of residency and decided to make Gulf Breeze my home and raise a family. I joined a thriving practice and I've had a wonderful career, including the privilege of delivering thousands of your children. I want to thank all of my patients for putting their trust in me and allowing me to serve you all of these years. I will miss you all.
I am leaving you all in the very capable hands of the physicians and staff of The Women's Group. Kathy R., who has been my nurse for all of my years with the Women's Group, will remain with the practice and will be available to help you with your transition to another physician. They are all outstanding and you will receive excellent health care.
I am moving to Memphis Tennessee where my wife has taken a new position, but I hope we will be able to return in the next few years. Wish me luck in this new chapter in my life, Again, thank you for making my career so enjoyable, and God bless you all.
